The Treme’ Culture Corner is a Social Enterprise of Family Resources of New Orleans, created in 2021 to provide an environment where small businesses can market their goods and services to both local residents and tourists visiting the City. The Open Air concept, located on the corner of Dumaine and N. Claiborne Ave, is being designed to celebrate the colorful history, culture and traditions of Treme’ in every genre: Visual and performing Arts, Live Jazz Music, Architecture, Food, Hand Dancing, including traditions such as Jazz Funerals, Secondline Parading, Indian Costume design, and Mardi Gras on N. Claiborne Ave. The site will serve as a Multigenerational gathering place.

Family Resources of New Orleans welcome you.  This agency is part of a network of Non-Profit Housing Organizations creating homeownership opportunities among low-wealth families. We are certified as a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) housing counseling agency.  To date, we have successfully helped over 100 families build their own homes in St. Charles, St. Bernard and Jefferson Parish. Family Resources is committed to helping families building wealth through homeownership and is implementing programs that are innovative and creative.  We partner with various agencies such as the City of New Orleans, Capital One Bank, First National Bank USA, Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas, Gulf Coast Bank and Trust, HUD, Housing Assistance Council, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Lift Community Action Agency, Inc, Louisiana Housing Finance Agency, St. Charles Parish, USDA Rural Development, United Way of Southeast Louisiana and Hancock Whitney Bank.
